Install
- Download the DMG with the button above, open it and drag Silverpoint to Applications.
- Open Silverpoint. The first time, a short setup sheet asks how the agent should run: your Claude Code, your Codex CLI, an API key, Apple's on-device model or a local server. Nothing is sent to a model until you try it.
- The app checks for updates once a day. Silverpoint ▸ Check for Updates… checks now, and Settings ▸ General ▸ Updates turns the daily check off.
Do I need an AI subscription?
No. Silverpoint doesn't include or resell a model: the agent runs on one you choose.
- Free: Apple's on-device model, or a local server such as Ollama or LM Studio. Nothing leaves your Mac.
- Your existing subscription: your Claude Code or Codex CLI, signed in as you, billed as part of your plan.
- An API key: Anthropic, OpenAI or any OpenAI-compatible provider, billed by them to you. Silverpoint shows an estimate of what each conversation cost.
You can switch any time in Settings ▸ Agent.
What to try
- Describe a screen in the agent panel and watch it build on the canvas.
- Name a version before a big change, then compare it with your design in Version History and restore what you want.
- Connect Claude Code or Codex in Settings ▸ MCP, and let it design in your open document.
- Export a frame as PNG, PDF or SVG.
Known issues
- Code export and import, and Figma import, work but are less tested than the rest of the beta: expect rough edges.
- Only the fonts installed on your Mac are available.
- There is no sync or collaboration. A document is a folder on disk; don't open one on two Macs at once.
- The app and this site are in English and Japanese only.
Feedback
Found a bug? Choose Help ▸ Report a Bug… in the app: it opens a GitHub issue with your Silverpoint and macOS versions filled in. Issues are public, so leave out anything private. For feedback you'd rather not post, choose Help ▸ Send Feedback… or write to silverpoint@krisbaker.com.
What changed in each build is in the release notes.
